OUR STORY
IT STARTED WITH THE RED HAT.
After 25 years of serving in and around RED HORSE, retirement didn't erase the connection.
The people.
The places.
The work.
The stories.
They're still part of who we are.
Charlie's Canteen started with a simple idea: create a place where that connection could continue.
What began with clothing and memorabilia has grown into something bigger—a community project dedicated to preserving the experiences and memories of the people who wore the red hat.
MORE THAN A STORE
We're building a place where you can find RED HORSE-inspired clothing and memorabilia, but that's only part of it.
We're also creating a home for the stories that shouldn't be forgotten.
Photographs from deployments.
Stories from the jobsite.
The places we visited.
The people we served beside.
The moments that still make us laugh.
And eventually, the stories of those who are no longer here to tell them themselves.
BUILT FOR THE COMMUNITY
Charlie's Canteen isn't about recreating an official military organization or claiming to represent the Air Force or any individual RED HORSE unit.
It's about our shared experience.
It's about remembering where we came from, staying connected to the people who understand it, and giving the next generation a chance to understand what came before them.
